OK guys I have a 99 burban with 270K on the clock still runs good just had a new trans built and beefed up for towing well I been thinkin bout pullin the engine while its slow here and freshening it up ,any one put there own stroker kit in ,we mainly tow with this truck and I want low end grunt ,I know you have to grind on the block for clearance ,I have rebuilt lotsa engines in my days my son hasnt so I thought hey a good project (for warranty purposes we send all engine work out)any cam ideas while we are there ?will a balanced kit be OK it wont be seein high rpms .Should I just let our machine shop do it?
