hey guys i put new 350 crate engine in,new distributor complete,new wires ,plugs and carb .set dist. in 8degrees tdc ,cap#1 and rotor line up at 5 o,clock engine starts up ,idle shakey, but rev,s up no back fire or hesitation, runs for 3 minutues and catylatic converter glows red engine hot hot
,ran at 20inches vaccum before had to change q-jet it was leaking gas they sent new carb different gasket, first gasket open bore this one has four holes for primary and secondary my manifold is not open bore does this make a difference.am i running to lean to make cat. converter glow?
