Header gaskets
I don't know who's headers are on the car. It has a 3"Flowmaster exhaust but I don't think Flowmaster makes headers. Not sure. Anyway is there a way to determine who the manufacturer is? I need a gasket set and don't know who's to buy. Are there universal sets?

If you have the headers off (replacing header gasket right?), you could probably take one up to autozone, pepboys, ior any local automotive hobby shop and have them recommend a particular gasket for you. If you're only looking for the gasket where the header flange mounts to the exhaust, then you could probably take your vehicle up there and have one of thier employees check it out from under the vehicle.Father and son working to turn a '64 Falcon into a street and track monster.

If you're talking about the head to header gaskets, I just use the stock GM exhaust gaskets on my Hedmans. Two years. No leaks.I intend to live forever; so far, so good.
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
