I would build the largest cubic inch engine you can.Look for camshafts that are ground on 106 lobe seperation.Stock pistons won't hold up for very long.I would look into a Hypereutectic pistons.Because of your compession rule I would look at heads that have a 76cc combustion chamber.The 305 heads have a very small combustion chamber that would give you to much compression.Being new to the sport take a look at Circle Track magazine.
