I agree with all of this except for the idea of roller bearing or bbc cam bearing size.In our 412 that turns lap after lap at 7,800 on a 1/2 mile track we have never done this or thought it necssary.The after market blocks such as the Dart block have extra oil going to the cam bearings.Originally posted by pat mccarthy
fill it with block rock and it will take it use multi -layer steel head gaskets on the cam run the 4-7 swap you will need some head work and some killer parts. valve springs i would use isky tool room springs. titanium intakes valves. titanium retainers. miller or t@D jesel rocker arm and. a dry belt for timing jesel or comp belt and bore the cam out for roller bearing or go big block on the cam bore .and i think you will need at 13to1 and a better block would be nice. i think you need more intake cc than220
