Well, I'd say you either ran out of cam or you ran out of springs. Looking at a Crane cam with about the same specs shows making power from 4,200 to 8,000 with valve float at 8,600. Compare the open spring rating on this Crane timing card with the springs you have now. Also, I don't understand how you can run the Comp at 9:1, it just doesn't make any sense. Notice that Crane specs a minimum c.r. of 11.5 with their cam of about the same specs as your Comp. Call Crane and discuss this with them.
