I think these "crosswind intakes" are similar in design with the more recognized Edelbrock "Air Gap" intakes. The plenum is separtated from the runners to get cooler air underneath.
Mike they do make both GenI and Vortec versions of these intakes.
Do you know them well? If not can you supply a part number from the intake?
