Dont know where you got this from , .020 pistons are available from almost every piston manufacturer, and they would not still be making them if there were no demand. Do you really think 355ci has any significant advantage over 353.3 ci. A lot of people ,when they build a motor dont want to bore that block any further than necessary for that rebuild.It may also allow them to get one more major rebuild out of that block.
One thing we were in total agreement on was , I couldn't tell if he had Trick flow heads or trick flow valve covers.

Now thats a sizeable horsepower difference.
