It's quite simple actully, you overheated the motor a little, the starter solonoid is right next to the exzaust, in the cramped engine compartment, it heats up the solonoid enough that it dosn't engauge, the simple solution is to get heat wrap for the starter. As for the engine stalling, the carb is probably not tuned correctly.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
