Joe,
Seriously, you have posted here before. As I remember, you do puller competitions and want a lot of torque.
To build an 800 horsepower motor is no trivial matter.....look at the NASCAR guys. They are looking for that kind of power with pretty good engine life. Of course, they are also looking for the very last tidbit of horsepower that they can get......for them the length of the rods and everything else is extremely important. Those guys spend big bucks to get there.......and it aint a Summit catalog order. When you get into the high horsepower, small things make a big difference.....the wrong port size can kill a motor or can make the motor a king.
Knowing that regardless of the motor sport, horsepower costs money, we should all be realistic. Does a $15,000 motor that lasts one puller season fit? If it does, I suggest that you contact a known builder of really quality puller motors and talk to them about what it takes to get there. Guys here on this forum can give advice but that advice is worth exactly what you pay for it......zip.
800 hp is nothing to sneeze at......get the check book out!!
