derek we are saying the same thing I think, all I'm saying is if the throw out bearing is adj. properly it want be turning unless your foot was on the pedal, because when you adj. it properly it wont be touching anything to make it turn. foot on the pedal throw out bearing turns, foot off of pedal throw out bearing don't turn. if it was adj properly and froze up you wouldn't know it until you put you foot on the pedal because it wouldn't be touching anything to make it turn so it couldn't make a noise. if the bearing is turning without foot on pedal then its out of adj. has nothing to do with which gear you are in, but if you are mashing the clutch padel or not. if thats what you said then we agree.
