I rebuilt a mild 350 & it ended up costing more than a new GM crate motor. Machine work & parts are too expensive to compete with crate motors IMHO.Don Meyer, PhD-Mech Engr(48 GMC Trk/chopped/cab extended/caddy fins & a GM converted Rolls Royce Silver Shadow).
