I agree. The 305 heads are not suited for use on a 350 (or even a 327). What ever horse power boost you get from the higher compression ratio is lost because the small valves will not pass the air you need.

Since you already have an intake I would pass on the Vortec heads and use use the Sportsman SR (Street replacement) heads.
