Thanks for the words. I think that may be what I do, but probably not EFI. low boost. compression in the 7.5 range. The piston choice is my main concern...I guess I need to just get together with speed o motive or someone like that and have them suggest a rotating assembly. But thanks for taking the time to answer with some advice. I guess Streets thinks I am lazy and did not already do a search and read everything in the list he so helpfully forwarded.

really all im saying is unless your going to turn it over 5000 rpms you dont need all of the high doller crank, rods & pistons. the first blower motor i built i had the best of everthing you could buy and i ran it lean and blew it up bad, the last blower motor i had didnt have any high doller stuff in it but it had all the power i needed.
people will tell you you need all of heavy duty stuff in a blower motor but if your not going to run it hard you dont need it. the reason i would use efi is because its so easy to run it lean with a carb. and the elec. takes some of the guess work out of it, but there again if your not going to run it hard that wont be a problem.
