I have 402 with a 4000 lb Monte Carlo
9.31 compression edelbrock 6045 heads 1.8 rockers Holley 750 dp 3.73gears Neal chance 11 inch converter
First cam i used was roller 11-413-8 .212/.218 .510/.510 made 18 inches of vacuum great idle. Took it to track and with street tires ran a 15.5 spinning at least 35 feet down track. Then redlining about 3/4 way down track
The next cam was 11-423-8 .224/.230 .510/510 made 14.5 inches of vacuum rough idle not great street cam for 402 But took it to the track and this time put drag radiels on it. No spin and ran a 13.3 at 98 mph redlining about 20 feet from end of track. When I had the street tires on it it would just spin the tires when i hammered itLast edited by Iowa; 05-08-2015 at 04:15 PM.
