    most all the time big port runner heads /cam. more carb cfm= more stall .you want the engine to build power so you do not want a converter holding back engine from the rpm that it needs to move your truck. i do not think there any one on here that builds or plays in the mud ? has a engine builder for engines for what you do i would have a good ideal what you need. but i do not build stalls so i have customers .call guys that build converts talk to more then one see what they say i would think around 3800 you need more cfm then a 750 done builds like yours 850 and 1050 cfm . not busting your balls but all bbc stock rods are 6.135
