Thanks , Pat , and happy New year ! the heads are '68 427 closed chambers with a stamping of 3919840 - unshaved . The block is a '76 2 bolt in nice shape and I am pretty sure my valve stems are 3/8. I know the roller retro-fit set up would be much better but I don't have the resources ( $ ) for it :-)
