your holding the engine down with so small of a stall . ATI and Coan makes some of the best. i wasted a BM in less then two blocks with a real 500 hp bbc so if yours is making that much steam you may want to talk to who ever you use to build or buy a stall from . the weight of your car and the TQ of a bbc will kill cheap stalls, i wasted many stalls . the money that i wasted on cheap junk i got tired of pulling them out sending them in rebuliding then trans and cooler . after all the steel went threw them
