I wouldn't give $50 for a rusted set of 45 year old 396 heads. Do you realize they would have to be taken apart, glass beaded to remove rust. Then you would have to take them to a machine shop to check for cracks, check valves or replace, if seats are rusted new seats, valve guides, seals, and new springs,locks and retainers. But you still would have a set of heads 45 years old. I would spend my money on a new set of Edelbrock Performer RPM rectangular heads for today's technology.
