Thats why im asking, every time I read something its not the same. You guys on this site helped out a lot. Its a 77 454 2 bolt, don't want a 500lb turd.The wife has me on a diet patch, but I don't think its work'in, she said you have that thing on right? said, ya, on my arm. that has not one thing to do with it or not being a turd first off aBBC 454 is not a Fe block so what may work good on a ford may not work on a chevy for thust /end play did you set the rear main cap end play ? end play can be up to .010 any thing past that i worry abit .side clearance rods can be from 014 to 020+ .rods and mains 001.5 to 003.5Irish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip
