End play

This is the end play I have, rods 0.015
crank 0.005 - or a tight 0.006
main bearing oil clearance 0.002
rod bearing oil clearance 0.002

What's it supposed to be? I think max end play on my fe's used to be .008.

Thats why im asking, every time I read something its not the same. You guys on this site helped out a lot. Its a 77 454 2 bolt, don't want a 500lb turd.

that has not one thing to do with it or not being a turd first off aBBC 454 is not a Fe block so what may work good on a ford may not work on a chevy for thust /end play did you set the rear main cap end play ? end play can be up to .010 any thing past that i worry abit .side clearance rods can be from 014 to 020+ .rods and mains 001.5 to 003.5
