435 BBC or 511 BBC?
I am new to Chevy and am slooowly saving to build a Pro-Street Street/Strip car or truck.
I was always a Mopar / Ford guy but my friends and family lured me over to "The Darkside" aka Chevrolet.
I have read and reread an old article in Car Craft about using a Tall Deck 427 block (+.060 overbore & a 4.375 inch stroke, 6.385 inch rods) I was wondering if the TQ produced by this longer stroke offsets the abilty of a 435(+.040 overbore, 6.385 inch rods & forged 3.766 inch stroke) to rev?
I am thinking an E-85 fueled(E-70-E90 is between 96 & 105 octane, Rocket Brand E-85 is 112 octane) Tunnel Rammed, Solid Roller Cammed 12-13:1 CR 600-700 HP(at the flywheel) and Plate & Fogger N2O injection.
Watch do you folks think?
