I cant be shure cause I know more about small blocks but, I do belive that the tall decks are truck motors, and you would have to have it shaved and remachined to have a street engine. I'm not shure but you may be able to use spacers. Someone who knows more about the BB's will probably correct me with what's wrong and help you. At least you got a start though and sorry I could not help you out more.
