yes edelbock has heads . scorpion makes rockers . you could off set grind the crank from 2.200 on the 454 to 2.100 sbc or honda? that would be 090 or so stroke but custom rods or use some of them cheap H or I or A beam rods on E bay from the nascar guys .and have a crank made about $1700 should get that done or less as they could use the BBC crank core/ stroker forging and you can get bbc crank from 4.000.4.250.4.375.4.500.4.750.and up and i have used all of them i build and machine alot of bbc .i would say a 4.250 may get in the 409 block or more.4.375? hard for me to say with out a block to look at .i know what i can get in a bbc 9.800 for crank . pistons would be a custom so any pin size could be bored in to the pistons. my customer did not do any of this other then pistons i solid him a steel 454 crank and a set of stock 3/8 thumb rods . there a lot of stuff out there now ,this was some time ago .i wanted a 409 for the 50 chevy i am a bit of a big block guy . i was going to do it but it was just way to EZ for me to build a bbc 454 had two of them in the50 chevy and now a 548.looking to do a 556.i may do a 409 some day for it not a 409 for CID and not stock.nice car Hotrod Paint
