Thanks Pat, Your pictures look like the right way to do it. I used a aluminum button on the last big block I put together. It fit snug in lock plate. That one had a tin front cover and flat tappet cam. This ones got a aluminum cover and a roller cam. I,m going to use a roller button like you said.
