Hey Pat - might they be Shims? It almost sounds like one head is a replacement and the shims might be trying to add a little more life to some tired springs? I've also seen the shims get "glued" in w/epoxy or JB Weld too. Not saying it's right, but could be, eh?"Where the people fear the government you have tyranny.
