what are you trying to see for hp out of them ? why not buy the world 269 cc o port heads off E bay for 150. a head casting? i think they still have some .i pick up a set for a 496 HI TQ build by the time i rebuilt the guys heads he pick up a better head for about the same priceLast edited by pat mccarthy; 08-31-2009 at 11:45 PM.

i need a gm casting
the class i race in needs a factory casting number or i would go aftermarket. this engine ran great but it is 5 seasons old and getting a little tired. my plan is to freshen this motor then use one of my other blocks for a 496. the guy who built this engine says these heads are the stock valves. I was just wondering if 219's will fit.
