    streetable solid roller

     



    Does anybody make a streeable solid roller cam? All the ones Ive found, the profile is too radical. What do I do?

    how streetable ? i used 740 lift cams on the street .so you need to say more about your build crower makes smaller cams i have used as well as ersons cam s .i build my cams by the lobe masters that they have listed in there cam books .some do ..other s do. not comp and erson do or just call .i can have custom roller ground .i have them made all the time no big deal

    We must have a different definition of streetable.... Seen lots of good street cams!!!!!

    but here one that you could have erson make you r270/.370 and r278/370 on a 112or 110 maybe better that cam would be 230/238@ 050 .629/629 that would be very streetable cam just call them and ask them to make it

    Hello Guys ,

    I need advise from some people that know what they are talking about cause
    I dont !!!

    I have a chevy big block 461 steel crank, forged dome pistons edlebrock aluminum heads , 714 solid roller (comp cam), 1100 cfm holly hardcore dominator,3800-4000 stall converter.
    350 long tail with all the work needed ,410 gears .

    I dont want to use the car as a daily , but I would like to take a cruise one in a while and not have a problem .

    Talk to me !!!

    yep i run all that stuff on the street for many years what do you want to know. the trans i allways used 400 s. there is two things you have to watch for is the roller lifters and the hi stall = heat and kills the trans and stall . there is a list of things that kills the rollers lifters first is you need a very good oil one with alot of Zddp will not hurt and they need lots of oil at low speed i like to use the HIPPO that lets more oil on the cam and put oil in the roller pins
