In short, we need more information. How much compression? Rectangular port or oval port heads? Closed chamber or open chamber, what year block?
Intended use? HELP US HELP YOU

WHAT PISTONS? IF if you do not use any you can put a big cam in thar

but if you run them 2.250 or 2.300 valves them dog gone valves will crash in to the deckthis will fit roller 238/246 @050 621/621 lc112 you should have 10to1 cr that as big as i would go and if a older 396 you will have to dig a ditch in the back cam journal for oil
