I have not found a r/a that is exactly what i feel and hear i should have.I am thinking its a better idea to buy this assembly in pieces so i can get the lower compression i desire (8.5-9.1 cr).

any opinions??

well if you can go with srp pistons or use a je dish piston what cc chamber heads do you have ? look at SRP 142979 for 030 over and 142980 for 060. over with a 112cc head you will get 9.0 and 9.1 and for the 118 cc head you would get 8.3 and 8.7 for the 060 over and that looks fine to me
