What if you measure a stock distributor from the top of the gear to the bottom of the collar, and just add whatever thickness the spacer is, to set the slip collar by. I don't know if this will work, just a guess.

what do you need to know ? i cut dist down you can buy a shaft collar or make one that will be your slip collar i cut down msd and mags for use in tall decks with a slip collar .use layout on the dist gear you want a good contack in the center of the dist gear. for starters i pull the slip collar all the way up set dist in make sure your in the oil drive push down the collar to the intake then put a thick dist gasket under the dist and check the print out on the gear some intakes are cut in the well for stock dist to
