I recommend a 14 bolt rear and a dana 60 front. If you've got a 208 transfer-case, you may want to swap it for a 205, they are quite a bit stronger.

A 10 bolt rear is a good rear end and for your week end cruises and cruise night driving it will last you. I had a 10 bolt rear with 3.73 gears with a posi in a 1980 Z28. It ran 12 flat passes all years long and I pulled litteraly thousands of holeshots over the 10 years I had that car. I had at least 1500 passes at the strip, and who knows how many thousands of holeshots I pulled driving it around, as it was also my daily driver the whole time I owned it. I dont think I ever once drove that car without running it full tilt at least once.

Live everyday like it were your last, someday it will be.
