When I had mine rebuilt at the local performance trans/converter place, I was surprised it only set me back about $700... In addition to the shafts and sprag, ask for the waffle-style clutches, they tighten things up quite a bit and should not wear as quick as the conventional clutches (?). Unless you're looking for nice smooth shifts

I am just questioning for the point of edicating myself as my engine and car building expereince has been limited to small block and 454 motors etc. 95%/mostly street car, 10.5" tire. Why 632 cid, 340cc runner heads, on a 3300 lb car running 13:1 compression most likely not able to run on pump gas? For mostly street. dont get me wrong, Im sure it will be a wild motor and fun as hell but on a 10.5" tire, and for a car that will be blasting mostly on the street cant you achieve the same performance pretty much with a lot less discplacement, compression and such huge heads? What are the cam specs, and stall speed gonna be? What the cooling system gonna consist of? Just seems like a lotta motor for a primarily street car. Ejumacate me please.

heads are not that big for a 632 and they drive fine on the street.i think the cam is custom
