    Do you know which impellor is in the pump right now? If it is an "A" cut I would leave it in. An "A/B" cut might work OK out of the hole in your light Sanger hull but a "B" cut will cavitate coming out of the hole. A stuffer plate can help the hole shot. Take your pump to somebody that knows Berkeley pumps very well. I just removed a COPO aluminum hirise from my 454 in my 77 Hallett. I will be trying an Edelbrock Performer RPM air gap this weekend at the River, Laughlin. I will let you know how it performs. Check out the forums below.
