    Engine Build

I was wondering if anyone could run this through a Desk Top Dyno and let me know roughly what kind of power it will make and if I should change anything. Here is the engine:

    454 block

AFR 335cc Fully CNC Ported Magnum BBC Head
    121cc Compustion Chamber
    Valves 2.3in 1.88exh

    .300 - 240
    .400 - 304
    .500 - 352
    .600 - 385
    .700 - 404
    .800 - 410
    Exhaust
    .200 - 144
    .300 - 197
    .400 - 257
    .500 - 285
    .600 - 311
    .700 - 319
    .800 - 325

    Voodoo Mechanical Roller Camshaft
    Lift: .680''/.680''
    Adv. Duration: 285°/293°
    Duration @ .050'': 255°/263°
    RPM Range: 3000-7200

Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap intake (dual plane)or Victor Jr. (single plane)

    Proform 850cfm

    10:1 compression (forged rotating assembly)

    2 1/8" headers

    1.8 roller rockers

if i am leaving anything out just ask and i will let you know. I have never built a big block before and need all the help I can get.

why so low on the cr why do you want to run 1.8 rockers?if you want more lift use a bigger cam the 1.7 are fine. i would run the G intake or the super victor .you could make more hp with some more cr them heads are big for a stock bore 454 will this be the size 454?

i was running lower cr so i can use a supercharger (procharger to be exact) and the 1.8 rockers were just thrown out there. I have never built a big block as i said so is that cam ok with 1.7 rockers or should i step i up?

i think the cam is ok but for the blower more dur on the ex side like 272 . but not to much more lift on the intake side you will be pushing it in with the blower and may be some thing with more lobe center and the 4-7 swap i would call them and see what they say. i have one more cam that i can run .some thing i have. but it would not be to night .tomorrow i do not like them 121 cc head for the small bore .you will have to run some dome on the piston for 10to1. it would be good to run a flat top with the blower

alright, thanx. If it makes a difference, I am building it for drag racing that will see very little street use, maybe 1 day a month, maybe. I don't need any specific power or 1/4 mile time. I am just in it to go to the test 'n tune and stomp on some friends (who drive hondas, yuck) and a '69 Camaro with a 468. I would like to go 9's and I don't really have a budget...yet. If anyone has a build other than what I have said I would be very interested in hearing about it. Just looking to go fast and be loud.
