Need some pre production feed back...
Attachment 61567Attachment 61566Ive been getting a lot of requests to build seat wings for some of the earlier seat frames that I build. Like everything there is a certain amount of R & D required to get things dialed in enough that it can go into production. For those that have older rods and by older I'm thinking 1936 and older I was wondering if adding seat wings to a modern style seat has any appeal? Pro's or Con's as you can see them in your car? Any feed back large or small would be appreciated. These are just for looks only and have no structural value what so ever. They would be an option at time of order so I'm curious what the perceived value from a customers point of view would be? Another words how much would you expect to pay for this option? I know how much they cost to build I just need to see if there is any room to make a buck or two? Thanks guy... I chose to post this up here on the CHR as I know everyone here is fairly well grounded with good intentions and that is appreciated. Thanks for your feedback either good or bad. Let me have it!
Keep in mind that typically a thin layer of foam would be glued to the sheet metal and upholstered over that.
