 Sorry, Mike, I don't know how I missed your response....but, yes they are comfortable and very supportive. With the increased bolsters, etc. it does make the front higher than the original style seats for sure. But actually it kinda serves as extra thigh support.
 Here's a pic of the stock Mustang seats in a original '66 with the Ranger package:

 Interesting.....I've never sat in a 3rd row van seat that I would call comfortable. In fact, on the rare occasion that I ride in a van, I avoid the back rows like the plague!! However, I can't imagine the stock '48 seat is very comfortable either unless reworked by somebody like our O.P. on this thread.....  Here's mine. Basic, dusty, original, and a bit springy under the driver's side towel..
