Show us your interiors and seats....

Im going to be tackling the upholstery in my ride here in the next few months. I have been looking through tons of threads to see just what you guys have done on your rides and to be honest I dont have the time to go through each and every thread.

I was thinking we should post up in a single thread with nothing but pics of our interiors and seats. This could be a great tool for future builds. Stock, Rat, Muscle, Custom, Heck lets see um all. I for one would love to go to one thread and see what everyone has done with their interiors. Who wants to start this thing off? Have an upholsterer you want to give props to? Have a custom touch you are proud of? Did you do it yourself? then show off your skills here, done or not.

Not a good shot, but the interior of my old pick-em-up truck. My friend Jim did this one, last one he did before he "retired" to the shop to build his own cars!!!!!

Of course it doesn't have a carb at the moment and won't crank but the interior does have promise and as soon as the Doc releases me on the retina surgery, it's Katy bar the door.

OK M.T.1, I’ve got your number now!

You’re one of those guys that likes to see what others have done and compliment their work!! Going on with your talk about all the good things everyone is doing and making em feel good... WELL, It ain’t gonna work with me! No sir, ‘cause I see right through your good deeds, you ain’t gonna make me feel good no way.

HOW DARE YOU, trying to fool us by being an un-conceited do-gooder thinking of others before yourself! But you ain’t fooling me with your highfalutin feel good ways!!! No How!! Oh, and thank you for the compliments.

All kiddin’ aside, I suspect you know a lot more about this stuff than you’re letting out, further I suspect you’re a much better friend than you are an enemy, and I thank you for that too!

You guys did a nice job on those interiors up there ^

I'm just not in a mood to mess with upholstery so I'm taking mine to an experienced upholstery guy tomorrow to get some padding for my bomber seats. Comfy is the main goal and I hope they also look good. Any advice is appreciated.

If I had a pic of what I'm sitting on now we would all get a good laugh, as long as it don't make you cry: while I've been waiting for the guy to get done with a Winnebago project I've been sitting on a memory foam pad from my son's bed that he no longer uses. The foam is for a twin size bed that I folded over twice on itself (so triple thickness...so it's like over 6" thick but compressed down some) which made it just about the right width and then I bungee corded it to the bomber seat so it doesn't slide around and covered it with an imitation leopard pattern blanket that wifey had which sort of strangely goes with the yellow body color. It still looks weird but it's been so comfortable I hope my real pads are close. It looks so odd that I haven't even thought of taking a photo of it but I think I will tomorrow before dropping it off just so I can laugh at it in the future. The seat padding should be done in a few days so I'll post pics then.

I already posted a pic of the bare seats in another thread but here they are again. I will discuss details with him tomorrow and get advice/opinion but I'm thinking either a medium brown'ish or maybe even a not too red oxblood color; and then add some same color details to the side panels, not sure if piping and/or that wide strip on the sides in that color:

Had the seat covers done by a guy in Florida that specializes in Fiero covers, and bought bulk material to match from him. Banged out door panels, headliner, radio pod, mini-console, etc at home. Did the walnut accents in the wood shop.

Read it again when you're not tired.

No need to get your knickers in a twist...the way I read it he was being facetious...taking the p**s.
