Absolutely stunning!!!!
There used to be a Casket company here in town and I liked watching the guys paint the caskets then use a Emu feather to run length wise over the whole box... It was amazing how it looked like real wood! And over a large surface with no hickups. Your dash sure looks nice! so when are you going to do the big showing?
Some good looking stuff there.
I am gonna have to find a good interior shop either in Vegas or California.
I have two cars that need to be done.
My 70 Buick Riv and a 72 Vette.
I want to get all the body work done on the Vette and pull the motor as well
before taking it to get the interior done though.
Quote "I don't know about any "big showing"... but I'll certainly share some pics when I get all the parts back. :D "
Figured being I referenced a casket co. the "Big Showing" sounded better than the "Final Viewing":cool:
That woodgraining looks very, very, nice!
my pickup had a wooden dash when i bought it an i didn't like it so changed to a steel one painted the same colour as the vehicle.
thats the great thing about building hotrods--- no two people think the same!!!!

Here are pics of my 50 Ply wagon interior I had the carpet ,headliner and seats done by a shop near me. I built and covered the side panels with speakers and also built the console. I now know why they get big bucks for doing upholstery after doing those side panels.
I messed up with these pics, will try to load again.

Chopt50wagon, you did an excellent job, looks nice!
My 32 3-window was interior was done by the original builder (Jerry Drye) and is done in a early to mid 60's style.
It has Oxblood (although it shows up in the photos as bright red) and black leather seats and door panels, a Stewart-Warner "Hollywood" gauge panel,
Fuel pressure hand pump, South Wind heater, a map pocket on the passenger side firewall and the required St. Christopher medal.
Jerry also handcrafted the steering wheel and the column drop is an old Rickie Smith pro stock BME connecting rod.
This thread shows that quality interiors can be done by non-professionals.
