    Smile what I'm working on.....

I have a '53 Chevy PU off frame & a S-10 (broken) that's coming off so's I can use that frame, just picked up a 342 posi rear from a 2001 Blazer 4x4 that will bolt in, got to go to the junk yard & get the rear suspension out of a 70 PU I know where is sitting, so's I can "c" notch the rear frame & put in my airbags, I need a pair of drop spindles for a 84 S-10.
Then I have another '53 PU that's a 3 window that's all original that I just got for 500.00 with clean papers- that needs going thru, it runs.
And I just bought a '27 Star car with rumble seat that's all there in boxes that I got for doing a paint job....my summer's full...lol

I don't know how I missed your post, another guy from Shelton!! We are a small but growing presence here!

Hows the '53 Chevy PU coming along? Don't hear much about a '27 Star, is that the Sports Coupe?

    Hey Thanks guy's.
The Star Corp. was started by an exec. in the Ford Motor Co. that was trying to steal the production assy. line concept from ole' Henry, as well as his Body designs- it looks like a '27 ford coupe w/rumble seat. The company started a year after Ford in production & later in '28 took a partner Durrant, becoming Star-Durrant car co. - they folded up in late 29 I belive in Ca.
