TH350 transmission question
On a turbo hydramatic 350 transmission there is some sort of switch or sensor screwed into the transmission next to where the dipstick comes out. It has two prongs for wires. Does anyone know what this is? is it a neutral safety switch or what?

well I decided to do another mod to gain max travel of bars past the intended travel points just for that peace of mind. 1/8 inch is to close so now I'll have 1/2" or better. I cut a 3/16" wall...
