    tranny question

     



    hey i am new to tha forum.. but i need some help.. would a modulator valve on a 350 turbo tranny with a b&m shift kit cause late hard shiftS?? it seems to really have to rev out before it shifts... btw its a 350 motor aswell in a 54 ford p/u

    restricted vacuum or no vacuum to the mod. will cause late shifts.

    a little more info and i can answer your question better.
    where are your shift points ?
    did you install the shift kit ?
    did you have problems before and after the shift kit?
    are u using ported or manifold vacuum?
    is 1-2 just late or 1-2 and 2-3 late?

    thers no vacume leaks.. and strong vacume..
    i did install the shift kit and it was installed then with out useing it for 4 years it sat... while we did the body and other werk.. the tranny was froma 74 impala and shifted fine.. but then that was 6 years ago that we drove that car.. and all shifts are late..and its a manifold vacume i belive... its my dadas truck.. thanks
