    tranny help

     



    i have a 78 trans am that originally came with a 4 speed. car now has an automatic. the question i have a t the moment is,i would like to install a mid 90`s 5 speed in. does anyone know if the bellhousing would accept thta tranny. or know where i could find information on that type of setup. tia

    you should have a bop case in it . the late model stuff is usually a chevy bell . ?????

    right now the engine in the car is a pontiac 400. and the only item left in the car that belongs with the tranny is the clutch pedal.
    and what is a bop case?
