Turbo 400

I have a rebuilt turbo 400 that has never been installed, it has been in storage for 2 to 3 years. What should be done to it before install?

i would start with changing the fluid and the filter. then refill with fluid and check for any leaks.

change front and rear seals (converter to pump/output shaft) check oil level, run it.......drain fluid after some miles, and youre good to go

Oh crap, didnt notice how old it (post) was......tranny fluid if not used doesnt really change much....I have some in quarts sitting on the shelf been there for 2 or 3 years, not an issue......
