Turbo 400
I have a rebuilt turbo 400 that has never been installed, it has been in storage for 2 to 3 years. What should be done to it before install?

i would start with changing the fluid and the filter. then refill with fluid and check for any leaks.BARB

change front and rear seals (converter to pump/output shaft) check oil level, run it.......drain fluid after some miles, and youre good to goBigMo

Oh crap, didnt notice how old it (post) was......tranny fluid if not used doesnt really change much....I have some in quarts sitting on the shelf been there for 2 or 3 years, not an issue......BigMo

Changed the shocks yesterday to OEM spec Monroe, they are still gas shocks. Disappointed that the ride is still very firm, it is not as bad but I was hoping for better. Might have something to do...
