Thanks for the input.
Update: they actually did send a lockup converter, but it wasn't properly wired, and the stall was too high. It's straight now, I have a 2400 stall, and the B&M control box..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
