63 Galaxie 500 Xl tranny confusion Cruise-o-matic to BW t-10

I bought my 63 galaxie 500 xl box top without the tranny. It's supposed to have a cruise-o-matic in it. I recently came accross a BW t-10 tranny with everything to convert it to a 4 speed that came out of a 63 galaxie with a 390. What I need to figure out is how long a cruise-o-matic is becuase theres a guy I know that has the BW T-10 tranny yoke that I need to get becuase the cruise-o-matic is too big in diameter. He is telling me that there is a difference in lenght of the driveshafts between a stick and an automatic. The driveshaft did come with my car and from end to end it is 57 3/4. I measured to the very end not to the center of the u-joint holes. Can anyone help me out with the dimensions of a cruise-o-matic? Thanks. Bob.

You're going to have to change the yoke on the driveshaft anyway, so get the trans installed and then measure for the cut.
