    Problem with TKO 600

    I have a 60 Vette, I installed a TKO 600 in about 3 years ago.
I just put a 283 in { last motor a 350 I blew up, crank broke, bent rods 7 and 8, took out rear main cap, oil pump, piston pin #7 shifted and put a hole in the cylinder wall } well shifting the trans was hard. Went to adjust the clutch and looked at the throwout bearing and it just didn't look right. The collar on the trans that the throwout bearing rides on is not attached to the trans.....
Anybody with a TKO 600 have this happen to them??????? My old M20 4 speed would never have this problem. Well anyway If you have a TKO not installed yet could you look and see how that collar is attached to the trans and post a picture....
    Thanks Jack
