when I moved the shifter to the floor, I removed the handle from the column shift, but left all the electrical which meant that as long as the column was in park or neutral, it would start in any gear. Just a minor thing that a 17 year old didn't think of but thought it was pretty cool after getting it figured out. I took a bunch of friends to a place called hell which is a creepy road with trees blocking out all lights. Rumor had it that the area was haunted. And so I would shut it off and move the column shifter out of park and then it would not restart. Scared a number of people doing that.

As far as the fluid goes, I put it in when it is not running and then top it off.
