I built a 4 speed shifter outta an older 3 speed on a Saginaw 4 speed ..and a second single lever for reverse.....Rebushed everything and shortened the rods a little to make the swing shorter...No missing first to second...second to third isn't as fast but the truck doesn't need it so much anyways...The rear ratio is so high that it goes 50MPH in first and second is a gimme ..The tailgaters and morons are just tiny objects in the rear view mirror by then....I win. .....RE: 1965 Chevy C10 .slightly modified 250CID inline..Saginaw 4 Speed...Extremely high ratio differential.... ..idiot behind the wheel.....
